Property investment
An investment of EUR 250,000 can be made in specialised real estate projects, including the conversion of commercial properties into residential use or the restoration of listed buildings, regardless of their location or size.
For a minimum investment of EUR 400,000, investors can purchase a single property in Greece with a minimum size of 120 square meters.
A higher investment threshold of EUR 800,000 applies for property purchases in Athens, Thessaloniki, and islands with populations exceeding 3,100 inhabitants.
Key Benefits of the Greek Golden Visa
Applicants can apply for Greek citizenship after living in the country for at least seven years, with a minimum of 183 days of physical residency each year. To qualify, applicants must also pass a Greek language proficiency test.
